I'm sure you would all like to know that our resident historian and fount of
much knowledge has been in the hospital in Richmond, Indiana, for several
days. Merle had surgery a few days ago related to diverticulitis and will
probably be there a few more days. Richmond is close to Merle's home in
Boston, Indiana. This news comes from my father, who talked with him briefly
in the hospital yesterday. I don't know too much more.
