I have the following from the Richland Center Church of the Brethren cemetery.
The church was founded by Brethren settlers who came from Illinois in
1882. A sermon was preached in the Koch schoolhouse in the spring of 1883;
six months later the Vermillion Church of the Brethren was organized on
Oct. 27, 1883 at the Smith (Larkin) School.
Their choice of the name came from the location in the vicinity of the
headwaters of the west branch of the Vermillion River (Robidoux). It was
changed in 1915 to Richland Center.
Charter members were the families of Henry Brouhard, John Rink, Ephraim
Baringer, and A. Z. Gates. They were soon joined by the Amos Barklow, John
and Levi Eby, William Smith and Simon Studebaker families. There first
ministers were N. F. Brubaker and L. H. Eby.

and I.H. Frantz, were elected and duly installed by the Congregation here.
E.H. Eby, Clarence Schrock, Albert Williams and Geo Rink, in other
congregations after leaving here.E.H.Eby while... (rest of page unreadable)

Of the number who became ministers, one, E.H.Eby and wife were
missionaries for a number of years in India. E.M.Studebaker is Pres- of
Levern College in Cal. Clarence Schrock is pastor of a church in Green
Iowa, Albert Williams has been pastor of a church In Okla. tho I understand
at the present time he lives in the Quinter con. in Gove Co. Ks. At least
3 of the oldest ministers, Brethren Hervey Broughard, Simon Studebaker, and
our beloved brother John G.Eby , their bodies lie in the adjoining cemetry.

My great-great-grandparents, Jacob T. and Susannah H. (possibly after
Holsinger, after her mother's maiden name) (Snyder) Crist are buried in the
same cemetery. They lived in a house on the Studebaker property just down
from the church for a while.
If I can provide more information, please feel free to contact me.
