Hi Faith,
My name is Larry L. Bolinger, I grew up in North Manchester & had 2 yrs.
at Manchester College (' 53-' 55). My grandfather, Amsey (Amzy) lived just 1
block from the MC admin bldg. The home used to be called Bolinger Hall.
During my search for ancestors, I was told that there was a published
geneology of Andrew Bolinger by the Huntington Co. Public Library, IN.
Andrew's father , Peter, was born in 1827 in MD, died 1860 in Huntington Co.,
IN & his mother, Elizabeth Shoemaker, dob 1827 in OH & died Jul 16, 1908 in
Huntington Co., IN. At the time, I wasn't interested in copies, but now I
wonder if any are available. I wish to expand my Bolinger data base.
I have a 2nd request. I have info on Joseph Bollinger born 1743 as
found in Gibson's York Co., PA History as coming to US in about 1754 with his
brother, Henry and mother (no name). How do I go about finding his place of
birth, & parent's
names?
