>Well, I wouldn't be surprised if we share a little DNA
Speaking of DNA.......
My grandmother had an unusual hobby when she was a little girl....she
regularly snipped hair samples from her family and friends. She must have
had a crush on my grandpa very early on because she had a clipping of his
hair for many years up until their marriage in their 20s.
Anyway, for SOME reason, after she died, no one wanted the box of
individually wrapped, labelled, little packets of hair. Being the romantic
that I was/am, I took them. I've had them almost 20 years now and still
don't know what to do with them or how to store them correctly.
Does anyone know (1) do they need to be in archival paper???? (2) do they
disintigrate or "go bad" over time?????? Do any of you clever crafty
people out there have a great idea on how I can display them?????
By the way, I'm on several of these lists, but it's only because of the
loving tone on THIS list that I'm willing to admit the above and ask for
your help!!! I'm afraid of the responses on the OTHER lists!! I don't
think even I fully understand the import of having this kind of DNA
available on your ancestors.
