We really don't know where all the early churches in the Carolinas were
-back before the action of Annual Meeting -banned "John H" - "and all who
believe that way" in 1798. It was an argument over how far they believe in
the Pietist teachings on Restitution -if you went a step beyond -it became
"Universalism". We lost all the Carolina Churches. We have some records
-Roger Sappington wrote his book on the "Brethren in the Carolinas" -from
the few records that we have.
