Hello Jim,
I am replying in reference to #2, the Burnetteville, Ohio Church. Are you
mistaken on the name of the town and state? There is a Burnettsville
located in White Co. Indiana just inside the county line of White Co. and
Cass Co. in Indiana. It is located just a few miles east of Monticello. I
think you may be referring to this town and not one in Ohio.
I just called a neighbor of mine (I am from near Flora, IN) who has been a
member of the Bachelor Run Church of the Brethren near Flora for most of her
life and her family connections are deeply Brethren. I asked about the
Burnettsville Church of the Brethren and she told me the church there is
very active yet. Also, she told me about the Pike Creek Church. It is
north of Monticello in White Co. IN and is east of the village of Norway,
not Norwalk. She also told me that there is a large cemetery there.
I just thought you might like to have this information on the above
churches. I do not have any information on the church records for you,
though.
Linda
