If you are MOHLER descendant, be sure this is your family before you
change your data.

I was overjoyed to find new MOHLER info in Annette Burgert's latest
book; however, when I dug out and re-read Elizabeth Landis Carson's
article found on pp 122-124 of the July 1995 issue of Mennonite Family
History, I realized that the Johann Henrich MOHLER in the Hassloch KB
does not seem to be the same person as the Henry MOHLER who lived near
Ephrata, d. in 1769 and whose deeds, will and Orphans Court proceedings
were recorded in Lancaster County.

If you would like a copy of the article, let me know and I'll send you a
photocopy.

Grace

ps The tombstone inscription Burgert mentions was for Henry MOHLER, the
son of the Henry who died 1769 in Lancaster County. gw
