I was able to click on Jan's URL yesterday and get to the site. I then
bookmarked it. Today when I try to revisit it I get the message "Unable to
locate host www.iltrails.org " and "Please check the server name and try
again." Perhaps the site is sometimes up and sometimes down.

From looking at the introduction on the site yesterday, it sounds like a
bunch of Illinois folk got fed up with GenWeb (or GenExchange?, they don't
name names) and decided to create a separate set of county websites just
for Illinois. I see that GenExchange is "temporarily closed" right now. I
hope the movement to put shared genealogy information on the web isn't
starting to break down.
