Here's info I have gathered on Benbow --
Anna Benbow died in Missouri in 1897 at age 72...at home of daughter Mary
Ann Benbow Oren wife of Noah Oren and buried in Altamont Ks where she had
lived... from obit in Gospel Messenger. Mary Ann Oren died July 6, 1936.
She was born in Peoria, Ind. Peoria was a small town in Butler Twp, Miami
county and I hoped to find the Benbows as early settlers but found no
evidence.
Elizabeth Benbow Flora died Kansas, aged 39 in 1895 leaving 8 children
wife of H(enry) F. Flora... H.F's second marriage was to Dora Mae McCannon.
Abraham L. Miller was the son of Isaac and Anna Lybrook Miller and married
Elizabeth Flora who was the daughter of Noah and Anna Flora..... both died
in Indiana., that is Abraham and Elizabeth. and I think Abraham may have
been married 2nd to Rebecca Trent,, I have not confirmed this...
I'm not sure if any of this helps but it raises questions about the Merle
Rummel info... does it compute?
