Hi Rose,

I have not done any research and thus have very little information on the
WILHELM family of Montgomery Co, OH. What I do have came off the OhioGENWEB
and the Miami Valley Ohio Genealogical Index. I did a surname search and
found a lot of WILHELMs in the Miami Valley with the primary concentration
in Miami Co, and large groups in both Darke and Montgomery Co.s. I did not
find any mention of August Ludwig WILHELM or his wife Wilhelmina. I did
find that two of the WILHELM girls married COOVER boys in either Montgomery
or Darke Co, Ohio.

Catharine WILHELM married Samuel M. COOVER in Montgomery Co. probably at
Poke Church (location unknown) in 1843. Samuel was the son of Michael
COOVER and Elizabeth SHOPP. Federal Census records show that he and
Catharine were located in Darke Co in 1860. Sometime later they moved to
IA, and then followed their son, William Wesley COOVER to Greene Co. MO.
Catharine passed away c1870 either in IA or MO.

Anna WILHELM married Isaac COOVER, also a son of Michael COOVER and
Elizabeth SHOPP, in 1841. They also moved to IA after 1860.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks,

Tom
