There seems to be some confusion as to whether Anna Stirtz(?), wife of
Hartmann Hunsaker (c.1692- ), married a Jacob Cokenower (Ccghenower) as
her second husband and by him had several children--including Catherine (who
married John Biery), Eva (who married John Welty), and Elizabeth (who
married Abraham Biery). The book, History of Abraham Hunsaker and his
Family, lists these children as Hartmann's by *his* second wife (name
unknown). But somewhere I've run across listings the other way--i.e., that
these were Anna's children by *her* second marriage. If someone, who has
good documentation, could straighten me out on this and let me know the
documentation that provides good evidence one way or the other I'd greatly
appreciate it..........D. Stewart
