I am requesting help to separate George Frey and George Fry families in
Somerset County, Pennsylvania.

The George Fry family that you mentioned seems to have originated in
Maryland, then settled in Somerset County. The Christian Fry family became part
of Church of the Brethren in Indiana County, PA. Later generations belonged to
the Maple Spring (or Fry) Church of the Brethren in southern Somerset County.

My George Frey family came from York Co., Pennsylvania, to Shade Township,
PA. They were Lutheran until a granddaughter Sally Wolford married Peter
Berkey. That generation was part of the Shade Creek Church of the Brethren,
then the Berkey Church of the Brethren. The following chart shows my research
(which is not totally validated).
