I've been following a little different migration pattern: from Somerset Co.,
PA to Carroll Co., IL to Richardson Co., NE and over the border at Brown Co.,
KS. Many of the families involved (but certainly not all) were related to
the descendants of Michael Meyers (1762-1836). Michael's son Henry
(1797-1877) met Christian Long of Arnold's Grove, IL at the Annual Meeting at
Beaver Dam, MD in 1853. This led Henry to move to IL, bringing his family
with him. Later he moved to Falls City, NE. Henry's son Philip was one of
the organizers of the Silver Creek CoB near Falls City, arriving in 1868.
Various other descendants of Michael Meyers followed this path. The Morrill,
KS CoB was just south of Falls City and a lot of Brethren lived there also.
