Mr. Robinson

Was this Alfred Robinson born in 1847 s/o James Moro Robinson born abt 1851.
He would have been just 14 in 1861.

Subject: [BRE] Church of the Brethren in Rock Island co. Ill. 1860

I am looking for information about a church of the Brethren in Rock Island
County Illinois

My GG Grandparents (Alfred S Robinson And Armina Hubbard) were married in
Rock Island County May 13, 1861. The Marriage License was sign by a JKM
Looker. I have been told by one of his descendants that JKM Looker "was the
8th in a
line of pastors serving the Church of Coe (United Brethren in Christ). The
church originally was organized at the house of father John Walker on Canoe
Creek in 1847".

So I would appreciate any additional information. I wonder if there would
still be church records somewhere.

Thanks,
R Robinson
