I recently uncovered a couple of copies of "Beginnings of Colorado Brethren,
Established 1874", published in June of 1976, among some of my old files.
It is a 20 page booklet with about one page per church established in
Colorado since 1874. Churches with a write-up include the Hygiene Church
(1st COB in Colorado), Bethel Church in Arriba, 1st Church of Colorado
Springs, 1st Grand Valley, Haxton Church, Northern Colorado, Prince of Peace
in Denver, Rocky Ford, Wiley, and 1st Church of the Brethren in Denver.
Other churches are listed in the Table at the end of the booklet with their
Organization date and when a church was built. I suspect these booklets were
not widely circulated and that there may be some interest in the Colorado
Brethren among those on the list. If so, let me know.
