Subject: [BRE] John and Elizabeth Warner Family Correction
Date: Wed, 14 Aug 2002 15:14:49 -0700

Before posting the correction I would like to thank Gale for
the kind offer of escorting us to the Wright cemetery. At
this point we will most likely arrive in Troy sometime on
Sun Aug 25, and will be in touch either Sun or Mon.

Correction to Warner Family:

Daughter Susannah (Susan) b. 1830

My original posting has her married to Dr. George W. Baker.
In fact he is her SECOND husband, and her line should
read as follows:

Susannah Warner m. C.(carl) Jacob Huffman 14 Aug 1850 in
Darke Co., Ohio. He was b. 20 Aug 1821 in Germany and
died 12 Dec 1858 in Leon, Decatur Co., Iowa. The 1850
Darke Co. Census (0417a.gif) has the family listed and also include
Susannah's brother Andrew J. Warner and C. Jacob Huffman's
family which appear to include siblings, his mother, and grandmother.

Susan and Carl (as he is known in Iowa) moved to Iowa in 1854. They
had 3 children - one born in Ohio, the others in Iowa. Carl died of
typhoid. The 1860 Iowa census shows Susannah, her mother and her
3 children.

In 1862 Susannah married George W. Baker b. 21 Aug 1841.
He was a widower with 3 children. Susannah and George
had 2 sons of their own.
