Dan and List,
Please forgive my mistake. Elder Johann Wilhelm Stober (Elder William Stover) was born 15-Sep-1726 in Staffort, Baden, Germany, and died January, 1800 in Franklin Co.,
PA. He was baptized in Evangelical Lutheran, Staffort, 16-Sep-1726 in Evangelical Lutheran church. He did convert to the Brethren or "Dunker" faith. He immigrated to
America 10-Sep-1737. See page 15 of "Stover Brethren," by William R. Stover.
The birth and death dates I gave in my previous e-mail are for William Stover's father, Johann Valentin Stober. Please note the mistake.
