Cathy,

Do you have more detailed info re the early migrations you described or
a source I can go to? I am a descendant of Jacob & Catherine Neff, as
well as Elder Daniel & Catherine Leatherman.

Subject: [BRE] Migration to Frederick Co., PA

Hi cc,

In the case of our family, there was migration to Frederick Co., MD from
eastern PA and I believe they traveled with other Brethren families.
Jacob and Catherine Neff and their family were Mennonites when they
joined the Church of the Brethren in Conentry Twp, Chester County, PA.
Later they moved to York Co., PA and then to Frederick Co., MD before
1745. I believe one of Jacob's brothers moved to Frederick Co., MD from
Lancaster Co., PA.
