Hi Cathy

Wayne Cty is up by Akron. I am in Miami Cty, north of Dayton, on US 48 at 571 in south west OH. I was born in Akron, where my Dad's parents settled. My Mom's family settled in Miami, and Montgomery Ctys. I know of no active Brethren in my family, but neither have I met all of my family.

Hi Christy,

There seemed to be a Brethren connection between Frederick Co., MD and
Washington County, PA. Some of our family moved from Frederick Co., MD
to Washington Co., PA before the next generation moved to Ohio. I think
it was the same for some of the Leatherman lines, as well as some other
families that lived in all those areas. As I've read our family
histories, I've noticed that several of the same families seemed to move
to the same areas where our family moved. Perhaps the Brethren community
in each of these areas was so close-knit that the many of same families
moved together to each new area.

Christy where is West Milton? Is it close to Wayne Co. where the
Hoover-Swagler cemetery is located? There very well could be a
connection to your family.
