Volume 1 (1973) is 229 pages as you thought. It is a hodge-podge of
material, combining church history with human-interest stories, starting in
Germany, then into PA and VA, and then sweeping across KY into OH and IN,
ending in the late 1800s. No index. I bought the book because it has a
couple of decent chapters covering the Garst women and their Frantz spouses
as they moved from Roanoke, VA, to Clark Co., OH. Located the book in Iowa,
inscribed "for my old friend Everett H. Snavely, a fellow classmate of 1916
Manchester College."

Now you can tell us what is in your Volume 2.
