Evening Ramona,
The space problem is not really that bad of an issue. The real problem
is the storage for the really old material. It is my understanding that there
are plans underway to combine all of the county facilities in one new office
building. It is probable that a room will be constructed with researchers in
mind for the old records. The problem is that funding is always the big problem
with this. Plus access to the records needs to be limited so that they do not
further deteriorate. The digitization would aid greatly in this.
Thank you kindly for allowing me to include you on the list. I myself
go to the county about as regular as you but I live in the east.
