I do have that info. thank you. In the "History of Butler Co., IA" 1883 it
doesn't say who his parents were. Then in 1853 is a David Miller, a prominent
pioneer coming from Indiana and in 1854 came Elias Miller, "he gave up his
life in defense of his country, during the war of the rebellion".
This is why I'm wondering if John H. Miller came from another family. I
don't know the parents were of David Miller and Elias Miller.
Many COB members were early pioneers of Coldwater Twp., Greene, Butler Co.,
IA. I found their Brethren cemetery online searching under "Church of the
Brethren cemeteries". There is a fairly large one (well taken care of) in
Coldwater Twp., Butler Co., IA
Any help would be appreciated!!
Carol
