Subject: [BRE] Would like obits for Frank and Galen Sargent

I would appreciate it if someone could please check to see if there are obits
in the Gospel Messenger for Frank N. Sargent and his son Galen Sargent. Both
men are listed in The Brethren Encyclopedia on page 1760 in volume 3. It
says Frank was born 7 Apr 1877 and died in 1951. I list a date of death for him
as 15 Jun 1951 but no source is listed. Galen B. Sargent was born 8 Dec 1901
and died on either 5 or 6 Feb 1975 in Highlands Co., FL. The encyclopedia
does not seem to mention the Gospel Messenger for either man so I don't know if
their obits appeared there. The 1975 date may be too late anyway.

Galen Sargent seems to be mentioned on page 166 of the book on Florida and
Puerto Rico. If anyone has that book I'm curious what it says about Galen. I
believe the family attended the J. H. Moore Memorial Church of the Brethren in
Sebring, FL.
