Lewis Hooke & Lucy Moomaw married in 1866 in Virginia (Rockingham County I
think - too lazy to make sure) & moved to Logan County, Ohio, where he had been
living for a couple years. They stayed there until 1873 when they moved on
to Delaware County, Indiana.
Were there Brethren churches in Logan County? History of Mississinewa Church
of the Brethren (Indiana) says almost all who settled there came from Miami &
Darke Counties in Ohio. Is there anything of interest for me re: Logan
County? Jeanne Webb
