I can find no "Walderoff" listed in any of my travel guides to
Germany. I suspect the town referred to is actually Walldorf, which
is, indeed, in Baden-Wuerttemberg. In 1972 (my most recent info)
Walldorf had about 13,000 inhabitants. It is located almost straight
south of Heildelberg, just off of Autobahn A-10. I find no other
location in Germany with a name similar in spelling to what you have
given. (Walldorf happens to have been the birthplace of John Jacob
Astor.)
