Dianne,
There is not much in the Smith book on Jacob, son of Johannes, just his=20
possible birth date. His marriage is not mentioned, so this could=20
potentially be any Jacob Kinsey. There are two others listed in the 4th=20
generation. All are cousins.
I have other data in my FTW without a source listed. If the non-list=20
person wants to write me, I will search out the possible source in my paper=
=20
files.
What I have for Jacob, son of Johannes, is this:
1 Jacob Kinsey
.. +Mary Beckner
..... 2 Susannah Kinsey b: June 12, 1790
......... +Jonathon Beckelhymer b: December 31,=20
1787
..... 2 Elizabeth Kinsey
......... +Reed
..... 2 Mary "Polly" Kinsey
My information is not infallible. I could have made a mistake while=20
entering this data.
A possible resource for Otie Kuntzi is Ancestry.com's newspaper database,=20
to which I do not subscribe. There are entries from around 1870 in the=20
Petersburg VA newspaper index. I looked for his name instead of Jacob's,=20
because of the more unusual surname. The newspaper references are the only=
=20
ones with his name spelled this way, and the only ones that came up on a=20
soundex search.
