There is no Richard Overholtzer listed, but I believe the book only
includes the first four or five generations after the 1700's immigrant
ancestors. For example my ancestral lineage is listed only from Marcus
Oberholtzer (b. 1664 Europe) down to Isaiah Baughman (my 3rd gr
grandfather--born 1781 PA).

There is a lot known about enough separate Oberholtzer lines, some of which
are suspected of sharing common ancestors, that this family would seem like
a natural for a y-chromosome study. Are there plans for such a surname
study (I see none listed at the major testing lab websites)? Since my link
is through a female I could not participate directly, but would be willing
to help sponsor a descendant or two of Marcus.
