Stan,
Thanks for the thoughtful and thorough info. I'm sure it will be of great
help.
I'm looking for the final resting place of an individual rather than a
family at this point. The person is Aaron Sellers. I cannot say for
certain that he was a member of the COB, though its certainly possible. I
just haven't gathered enough about him to know for certain, so I don't want
to tie up the list unnecessarily.
The last I/we know of Aaron Sellers was that he was in North Manchester as
late as 1883 when he was 40 years old. Its generally accepted that he "died
relatively young", so I suspect that he did pass away and was buried in
North Manchester. He was listed as living in North Manchester on the 1880
Census, and a death notice dated February 14, 1883, for his mother, Barbara
Ohmart Sellers, stated that Aaron was a citizen of North Manchester at that
time (thanks to Karin Rettinger for that info!).
He was married to a "Rebecca", however, her maiden name is unknown and what
happened to her has also remained a mystery.
If it turns out Aaron was not COB, my apologies for the list for getting us
sidetracked.
Michael Sellers
