Subject: Who is Susannah Flora?

In the 1880 census, Nathaniel West & his wife Mary Peebler West were living in Nezperce, Idaho. A Susannah Flora is listed as part of the household, identified as "Grandmother". She was born in Virginia in 1808, & her parents were both born in Maryland. A couple of other family researchers have spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out who she is. It's a puzzlement ! ! I've wondered if she might be someone they took into their family because she no longer had anyone of her own? They came from Sangamon, Illinois, then lived in Oregon, Washington, & Idaho, also spending some time in Canada. Any ideas? Jeanne Webb
