I pastored the Beaver Dam Church, and of course, knew the Garber
families well, but I have done little on the Garber background. You
named Samuel Garber as cousin of the Elder John Garber (who went down to
the Flat Rock Church VA - and yes, I've been there and seen that church,
too). I thought he was a brother - we must have had a larger Garber
family at Beaver Dam than I realized.

Most of my research into the Garber families was the migration of a
Martin Garber who came to the Prices' Creek Church here in Preble County
OH, with the Petry families - about 1828. And I've described the old
Martin Garber home/meetinghouse there at Beaver Dam (who I remember was
the father of the above Martin). Would you be willing to give me a
little more information about those early Beaver Dam Garbers?
