I too am interested in the S Z Sharp farm-for-sale announcement. Most of
what I know about S Z Sharp comes from being a student at McPherson and
working in the offices in Sharp Hall. However, when my husband and I moved to his
hometown, Fruita, Colorado, I was surprised to discover an S Z Sharp
connection there. I believe he was somehow connected with the development of the
town of Fruita (platted as a dry town); and I believe he died as an old man
after being struck by a car in downtown Fruita.

Was he some kind of land developer as well as church leader?
