There is a Mary Nicklow listed as a 'spinster' in the 1960
Pennsylvania census for Upper Turkeyfoot, Somerset County. (Paddytown)
She was born in abt 1799 in Pennsylvania, and lives with what may be
her brother. Three children are listed of the brother suppose.

There is a Mary Nicklow, who married Moses Christner, and had a son
named Nelson, who was born in 1854 in Pa.

Here is something from RootsWeb--given the names, I would think they
could be Brethren.
Almarine MARSHALL b. ca 1790 PA enlisted in War of 1812 at Erie PA, In
Ohio in 1820, lost in 1830, In IL in 1840 & MO in 1850 where he d. in
1857.
Ananias LENHART b. 14 Sept 1850 Somerset Co. PA m. CA 1870 d. 14 Nov.
1923 Lockridge, OK. Family Legend says father was Benjamin LENHART,
mother Elizabeth FOUST, when she m. a few years later she used maidan
name.
Barbara BURKHOLDER b. ca 1789 PA. I was told recently that her father
was John BURKHOLDER. Would appreciate any add'l info. She had a
Sister, Susan, who also married a CHRISTNER.
Mary NICKLOW, b. 25 Dec. 1822 England, d. 1904 Garrett PA. Daughter-in-
law of Barbara Burkholder. Family Legend says she was a baby when they
came to USA. Also everyone in Family remembers her last name
different. Have a half a dozen or so spellings. Very petite lady, I
would say from her photo about 4 Ft. Tall.

Do a Google search. There are several Mary Niclow's that have quite a
few posts on various sites. Many from the early 1800's.

I hope this helps.
