Many old cemeteries are in a state of disrepair. Some are on private property which makes it more difficult to care for them if the owners are not concerned. Others that do not have active churches or cemetery associations are not cared for unless concerned descendents of those buried there make an effort to maintain them. Perhaps through this list we might make connections to band together to care for some of these abandoned burial grounds.
