Eli Shearer was a deacon in the Brush Creek (Younce's)--Ludlow--Painter
Creek and later Salem congregations in OH.

Henry Jones was a minister and Elder in the Brush Creek
(Younce's)--Ludlow--Painter Creek district of OH, Hurricane church in IL,
back to the then Ludlow--Painter Creek district and finally the Salem church
of OH. In 1903, Henry and Rebecca, each with their third companion, were
the first two people admitted to the Brethren's Home in Greenville OH.
