Here is another route to the West from a book about Kentucky, written in
the late 1700's. I photocopied this about 35 or 40 years ago. I don't
remember the exact name of the book, but I think it was written by
Filson.

It is not greatly different from some previously given routes, but may
have some different reference points.

I was suprised that the name "Pittsburg" was used this early. Does
anyone know when the settlement at the forks of the Ohio was named
"Pittsburg" ?
