I would check with the Pleasant Dale Church
In Adams Co, IN. They probably have records which might solve this. I
know that Rev John Hartman married Caroline Steele, a descendent of George
Steele whose children were strong Brethren. Lynn Sewell.

My step mothers great grandfather was Adam Hartman (b1/15/1840 d.3/3/1888)
and lived in French Twp. Adams County Indiana. Does anyone know if Adam is
related to John Hartman in neighboring Kirkland twp?
Thanks,
Chris Pulver
