I've just put in the rarest of the names I'm doing and came up with
nearly 1600 hits!! I don't think I'll try with some of the more
common ones like PARKER!!! ROFL

However, one of the hits was in the Bristol Mercury and there
shouldn't have been any there at all but it's solved a puzzle about a
cousin's wife - or one of them! :)) Oh, and the marriage wasn't in
Bristol but in London!! The only reason I can see for it being in
that paper was because one of the vicars conducting the marriage
happened to be from Bristol.

I also found a PURSY (of Shapwick) marriage in the same paper.
