Hi Polly,
I thought I had found Charles Leonard with parents Alfred/Annie in 1871,
Yatton. This agrees with your explorations.
I have Charles 1881-1901, if you don't already have the information.
Rose Bright died abt Jun 1900 and I think this is widow Charles'
re-marriage. They too had a son, Charles Leonard in 1883, so at 18 it could
be his marriage instead:

My eye was caught by the names "Leonard" and "CULLIMORE" as I have a
connection to the CULLIMORE family and there are a lot of "Leonards" in that
branch too, as well as them being in Bath - as well as N SOM and S GLS.
However I have followed back from Charles Leonard using the census, FreeBMD
and Mary's wonderful Portbury site and found this:
Charles Leonard's parents were
Alfred John CULLIMORE & Anna MOYSTON (mar Sep 1855 Bedminster) Alfred John
was baptised in 1830 at Weston in Gordano, the son of Charles Leonard
CULLIMORE and (Mary) Ann.
Charles Leonard was baptised in 1807 at Portishead, the son of Thomas
CULLIMORE and Mary.
Besides Alfred John Charles Leonard aslo had a son called "George Leonard",
he married a Mary Anne PETHERHAM in Mar 1885 Barton Regis RD, and this
marriage had always puzzled me, as my line also has a George Leonard
CULLIMORE who married (for the third time) in Sep 1885, and I had wondered
if he was a bigamist! However searching out this line proves that he was
not.
Thomas CULLIMORE and his daughter-in-law (Mary) Ann both seem to have died
before the 1841 census as Charles is living with his mother Mary. In 1851
she is still alive, and her birth place is given as Rockhampton, GLS (a
place I have never heard of!), and her age suggests a birth around 1777.
On my branch I have got back to Augustus Poole CULLIMORE, born about 1803 in
Whitfield or Thornbury GLS. So it is just possible that he was also a son
of Thomas & Mary, but I cannot find anything further online.
It would be nice to tie them up!
Polly
