Hello Charani and all listers,
Sorry a few of my messages have not gotten through to the list because of a
bug in my "Rich Text Editor" settings. I'd just like to say thanks to Maggie
and Charani in particular for their input on the Parfitt surname. Cornelius
Parfitt and Grace are my 6th great grandparents. Their son James (b. abt.
1744 at Clutton) is my 5th gt-grandfather. Most of the information I
received came from long lost relatives who now reside in Colorado and
California: these people are descended from Parfitts who worked as miners
who ventured far from "Bristol and District" in search of new wealth. I hope
Charani that you and I can find a link through your husband's Purnells. To
date I only have one Purnell in my tree: she is Ella Purnell, born c1861 at
Clutton. Ella married Moses Wyatt (b. 1860 at Hallatrow). I do not know
Ella's parents'names.
Best regards,
Paul Wyatt

It looks very much as though you have a connection with my husband via
the PURNELLs.
