Hi Liz,
Did you look to see if you could work out the parish from the index on the
BAFHS site using Neil Dun's cross-referenece guide:

Thank you Nancy. If you look at the 1st quarter 1843 - there is an Ann
YOUNG but there is one male short! The Ann YOUNG was married in the
Bedminster area and I am hoping that's actually going to be a marriage up in
Winford. I dare not send for any more certificates at the moment...they are
taking all my pension! I received 3 this morning, OK one of them will be
reimbursed but they are mounting up! If I was sure that was the right one I
would send for it.
Yes, I know I'll get part of my money back if it wasn't the right one...but
I'd still be curious to know who that Ann YOUNG married!

I have looked at the GRO and there is no Michael YOUNG on there...but, just
because he is missing, I am not convinced that he's not the one. It will
certainly be Bedminster because they never travelled far, the family were
just Ag Labs and I know they were still up there in the 1960s. Of course,
we didn't realise they were family in those days but we visited a house that
was for sale...didn't buy it as mortgage societies would only lend to modern
properties in those days.
