AR MAGGS was a registrar in Bristol between at least 1915 and 1926.
He married my great uncle in law, Stanly MAGGS, in Bristol Register
Office in 1926.

A search on FreeBMD produces

Alexander Reginald Maggs in Bristol (Q1 1876)
Arnold Robert Maggs in Bristol (Q4 1889)

Does anyone know which, if either, of them grew up to be the registrar?
