Notice is hereby given that by a deed poll dated the 6th day of August 1942 and duly enrolled in the Central Office of the Supreme Court of Judicature on the 20th day of August 1942 BRUCE MERRYL (formerly Charles Geoffrey Henrich or Henrick) of "Picket Post", Cedar Road, Farnborough in the County of Southampton, Musician, a natural born British subject did thereby for himself, his wife and children and remoter issue, absolutely renounce and abandon the use of his former surname of Henrich (or Henrick) and in lieu thereof assume the surname of Merryl and did thereby absolutely renounce and abandon the use of his former first names of Charles Geoffrey and in lieu thereof assume the first name of Bruce. - Dated this 20th day of August 1942.
