Subject: STIN(M)BERG and COHEN descendants

Hi,

Im trying to find descendants of Florrie nee STINBERG
or STIMBERG (died Leeds 11 June 1943) and Max COHEN
(died 22 March 1925 in Redcar). They were married
abt. 1893 in Old Central Hebrew Synagogue, Victoria
Road, Leeds. I believe they had 7 children: Selina,
Sarah, Rebecca, Sidney, Maurice, Ada and Betsy.

I believe the following information to be correct:

Selina m. Philip ? GOLDSTONE
4 children:
Ivy
Augusta
Philip
Alec

Sarah have no details

Rebecca married ? Rosorky

No details regarding: Sidney, Maurice, Ada

Betsy m. Morris Addleman
They had 7 children:
Solomon, Rose, Bernard, Eli, Cecil, Flossie and Lena.

I had some correspondence in the past with Cecil's
descendants but, as is often the way with people not
*burned* with genealogy, it didnt go very far and I
felt a lack of interest on the person's part so I
didnt persue it too intensely.

Regarding Max Cohen I remember the story that he was
killed in a car crash returning from Redcar.

If anyone has any information I would so appreciate
it.

Max Cohen was (actually he still is altho' he's
deceased) my great grand uncle.

If fact, I would appreciate some direction on how one
describes a deceased relation, grammar-wise. Is it
"is my relation" or is it "was my relation"? I think
the former "is my relation" is more correct but it
does seem odd to speak of a deceased in present form!
