Dear Georgie, thank you for your answer. There is so much I couldnt find on free BMD. I subscribed to Ancestry so will try itwhen I get back.

I have been searching for my grandfather's sister's marraige between 1860 and 1900, It is Hannah Cohen (probably in London) to Louis Nathan. If you come across it, I would be very grateful. I cant ever seem to get to Myddleton street and cant take down those big books anymore as it took me months of acupuncture to heal my shoulder,

been looking for a birth of Judah Hart for years, I had the birth year but
could not find an entry. On this site I found it immediately, his name was
spelt Juda. To me the site is wonderful as I live in Brighton I don't have
to spend hours travelling to Mydleton Street, also if you are unsure of the
year you are looking for, you can just click on another year until you find
the entry.
