Morning Sherry,
Zvi should be Harris - at least if he takes after my gt-grandfather Harris
Bergman whose Hebrew name was Zvi! Seriously though, Zvi means
deer/stag/hart in Hebrew, which is Hirsch in German, which becomes
Harris/Harry/Henry in English.
Regards,
Beverly
Morning,
I have Bass (groom), Ze'ev and Zvi on a marriage authorisation (brothers).
On the 1901 census I have Harris, Wolf and Bass. I know Ze'ev in Wolf. Is
Zvi Harris or am I looking for another brother born post 1901 census?
Marriage was in 1921, BTW.
Thanks
Sherry
