You asked about Sir Eli Nielsen. I have not been able to find anything about him either, but did a quick search to find death record of his mother, Trude Rosenberg/Neilsen.

I've checked the death records for England for the date you gave. Nothing under either Rosenberg or Nielsen. Where did you get that date? Are you sure about it? I am sort of surprised that there is nothing on the web about a peer of the realm. Most of them seem to have lots written about them. What is your connection, if you don't mind me asking?

Also Nielsen is a Scandanavian name - have your tried in that area?
