Hi Hillary,

Please tell the list what research you've done on this so far so that they
won't be reinventing the wheel. Have you searched the usual census and
vital records online already? My first thought is that the name signifies
that someone is from Tavrig. My grandfather was from Narodichi, Ukraine and
he was known as a Narodicher. Maybe these people took it as a surname.
