Knowing that both my grandfather changed his name to Moss just before my
father's birth I had only looked for that derivation but I will check
others.
Think I will be in London in Nov. Will let you know.
Incidentally the Rose Levy that you had a shot of unfortunately is the wrong
one. Finally got the death cert. You win some and you lose some.

The first thing that comes to mind is that they may have changed their name.
Moscovitch is very 'foreign' sounding. Perhaps they changed it to Moscow,
Morris, etc. From my hunting in the JC archives it is clear that around the
turn of the century many people changed their surname to make it sound more
'English'. Just an idea .....
