Dear Valerie,

I checked the Library and Archives Canada home children database and Eva and
Clara are listed under Kenmore not Kinmore. This was a common problem. Have
you searched databases with different spellings of their last name? Is there
any record of the girls keeping in touch with letters or pictures?

I couldn't find a birth record on FreeBMD in England for Leah Christina -
Feb. 27, 1876 or Eva Annie - 1879 birth. I did find a birth record for Clara.
Please see below.

I also kept coming across death record for a young Eva Kinmore in several
databases I did a name search on. I am very sorry if this is the Eva Annie that
you have been searching for. She could have returned to England after coming
to Canada in 1891. The Eva Kinmore that I found died in 1897 at age 17.

You may want to request copies of Clara's birth certificate and this Eva's
death certificate to compare details based on your family history. For
example, the informant on Eva's death certificate maybe a relative. You may learn
more about the girls parent from Clara's birth certificate maybe the girls used
their mothers maiden name after coming to Canada.

You can request the certificates and pay a small fee at the England
Registries. I have ordered several certificates from them. This is the link to there
site. GRO-GOV-UK. This is just a suggestion and I know sometimes people are
not comfortable ordering certificates online. They do except orders by phone
as well. You may want to research this further to eliminate this as your
relative.
