Thomas Brown, farmer, born c 1800 Ireland, died Mansfield, Cattaraugus
County, N.Y. Feb 21, 1879. Wife Jane O'Connell, born c Jan 6, 1808, Ireland,
died Oct 19, 1880, Mansfield. Jane stated she had seven children. Six were
identified as John b c 1836, Mary 1840, Margaret 1843, all born Ireland,
Andrew 1846, Thomas 1849, James H. 1850, all born Vermont. Family emigrated
from Meath-Westmeath area of Ireland to Vermont between 1843 and 1846. Moved
to Mansfield, N.Y. about 1852. Thomas and Jane buried in RC cemetery,
Ellicottville, N.Y. with four children. Any information gratefully received.
